Did you ever use the backup assistant ( ntbackup.exe ) from Windows 2000/xp/2003 at work, and saw than the backup assist doesnt have anything to stop the backup job every holiday, its not a big thing you will say, but for me it is. If someone create something on the day before the holiday, and in the holiday someone delete that thing, if you dont change the tape you will loose that file, with this software you can stop the job on the holiday. First I thought maybe I could buy a software like veritas, but after I saw I could run backup assistant with the command prompt, and there is some api to help me for the tape status, so I started this on june 15th. Thing I need to do on that software, repair the montly stuff, make the exception windows more like the scheduler windows, make the software independant of the backup assistant (So I need to know how the API work for making a copy on a tape), I need to setup something to send an email when we need to change the tape, so I need to know how to manage multi tape, and the last thing, make my software a NT Services. All those thing will be done, if you can help me on something go ahead.

You might have seen few tools/codes on PSC creating Virtual Drives using subst.exe (found under windows directory) ... but this adds a dependancy over external executable file. Have you seen any code on PSC which will mount a Virtual Drive without using subst.exe ??? I haven't. Even though subst.exe is the simplest way to do it, but still, if you are like me who don't really like to Shell external executable to perform certain task, then here is the solution for you. I found that I can create Virtual Drives with API ... and I have tried to demonstrate the same technique in this Visual Basic program. It's made as easy as possible, so that you can use it in your projects without any problem. This method helped me a lot in my FTP project ... hope that you will also find it useful. First, When these people spams psc with annoying posts, you get angry and give them exactly what they want 'Feedback' Feedbacks from you is what's driving them. They want attention and this is the way they get it. If you see these postings, don't jump right into their trap (Feedback section). You should instead take a pepsi/beer or whatever, cool down and ignore it. If you do, i won't be surprised if those postings stops after a while. With no feedbacks, it won't be that fun for them anymore. To Ian: You should make a site where people can debate and leave their anger instead of the spammers feedbacksection, and you should look into it now and then to get some inputs on 'How to get rid of those people'... **Not an another big stack of controls**. This is an accurately build ownerdrawn, sizable, lightweight (not in code) calendar control with 'Dropdown' , 'List' mode and as beautiful as my girlfriend. Each time I want to capture the screen with the print screen button I had to go to mspaint and paste the picture and then save it, but these steps are boring especially when you are taking more than one picture from a full screen program or a game. With this program u only have to run it and it will start monitoring the clipboard , it also have an Auto Save option to automatically save pictures to a certain folder (previously determined ) after u click print screen button. Important note : at the beginning I had made this program for me and not to upload it to psc so I used a control that I have downloaded from psc which is the champleon button just to make the program more beautiful but after a while I decided to upload it because it might be useful and I was going to remove the control from it but it was going to take a lot of time so I uploaded it with the control and if the author of the control have any objection please tell me. Finally , I hope that you find my program useful.

An easy to use class to concatenate PCM wavs. Uses the ACM so you can even concat wavs with different sample rates.

This program is one of a kind, and I don't say that because it can read output of another application but because, for the first time, it can send input from vb as well!
