It uses a file name as the password, with the file extension. The code searches the current directory on the hosting server for the file, and takes appropriate action.

After downloading a lot of "complete aplications" that made nothing, I decided to send one that is not so complete, but that you can learn how to REALLY use graphical filters. Blur, Blur More, Sharpen, Sharpen More, Emboss, Difuse, Difuse More... You name it! And you can make your own filters so easy! this little proggy only has 3 hours of programming and testing... This is a TCP/IP Winsock API Server. I decided to post it since there wasn't enough information on the winsock api on the internet. It took me about 8 months to figure this out and only about 3 days to make ;] I have included a client with it in a seperate zip file, the client was made to work with the server. I just used mswinsck.ocx for the client, but it works =). My main goal was to get the server to work. Please vote if you like the code or feel it diserves a rating.

The SCRIPTPAD 1.0 is a more flexible Word Processor than most I have seen(on this site and elsewhere),though it doesn't support MDI Interface yet(I am working on it). Have you ever needed to switch the file extension of a large set of files from .htm to .asp but you were worried about other web sites linking to the .htm files? You could create a new redirector .htm file for every file you switch to .asp. Or, you can just download and set up this solution! Just drop this file somewhere on the web server (remember the URL), and then configure the Custom Errors settings in IIS (by default pointing to 404b.htm) to point to this file's URL. That's it!

This code is an example of using timer events and controll arrays. What this file does is displays different messages at different intervals on the text area of this notepad like application. They do not activate (the messages) until a user types in the screen. A user can specify which messages he/she wants shown on screen by pressing F5 to get to the controll box. This is a complete ASP shopping cart. Pure ASP. Client side scripting. Just ASP. It has login, register and retrieve password functions already built in. This also has a function that when you submit the order it e-mails it to an e-mail address specified in the file and also e-mails the user thanking them. It has a complete shopping cart, you find the item you like by browsing through the catogories, select it, click add to cart then select the quanitity(use the calculator to see how much it's going to cost) then click add. The product is added and is now in your cart! Please vote because this was quite a bit of work. If I get enough votes(good or bad) I will release a second version. This script will work best if you put it in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\shop\. I didn't bother with a fancy interface, I left that up to you to do.
