This is my second DirectX tutorial program. Once more, everything is heavily commented for easy understanding. I tried to explain not just the how but the why of everything. This example program builds on the previous tutorial, and introduces a few new code snippets, such as how to create and use the D3DFont facility for printing text to the screen, toggling to fullscreen mode in DirectX 8.1, and also using a frame control loop instead of a Timer control. I found that this particular application ran as fast as its C++ counterpart in fullscreen mode and in windowed mode. If you have any problems or questions, please contact me. Please vote!

This procedure finds a file and returns the full path, provided a partial path it will search all sub dirs. No looping only 1 API - this is the kind. I can't really take credit for putting an api to use, just sharing something that you might find useful.

OptiType is a word processor, HTML editor, webbrowser, and editor for DOS batch files, all in one program. It has support for RTF and TXT files, HTML files (with an integrated preview window), and batch files. You get all the functionality of a word processor (font tools, print previews, find and replace routines, printing, inserting images, word count, e-mail, etc), plus wizards for creating letters and web pages. It has a seperate toolbar on the left that allows the user to quickly insert stuff like HTML tags and MS-DOS commands (for batch files). As an added bonus, this program can also be used as a fully functional webbrowser, even allowing you to instantly edit the source code of the website you're viewing. This is a relatively big project (23 forms, 3 modules) and although this version is pretty much complete, I'm still improving things so any feedback would be more than welcome.

This is a great HTML Editor I have been working on, its current posistion is between version 1.2, and 1.3. This HTML editor has all the good stuff, Links images formats, frames, tables scripts and a script maker, a browser and of course page preview. I am still working on this program to make it even better.

Ok, Trying this again. I think I have all the bugs worked out. This is a sample of a larger database GUI that A friend and I created thru VB for the company that we work for. Generates all possible combinations of a string up to a certain amount of digits, uses recursive calling to do it, very fast for VB, generates around 1,100,000 strings per second on a p-3 800. comments and suggestions welcome =)

I recently downloaded a code about XP side menu i thought that code was a bit difficult for begginers so I decied to do the same with simple code. Find out the column header name on which currently cursor is positioned, with a simple timer mechanism. No subclassing needed.
