MathDrawer was a project for my Visual C++ course. I was so excited about programming for Windows with this powerful language that I went far beyond what was required for the project. The end result is this: a rich featured plotting application that supports many trigonometric and other functions. It has three modes of operation: drag mode to let you set the scale of the graph by dragging the plot area, percision mode that will make the mouse pointer snap to the curve, and finally scroll mode which is like drag but scrolls automatically as you move the mouse. The application also lets you export the graph as BMP file. I'm sure there are other great graphing applications out there but this one demonstrates a lot of concepts in MFC and Windows programming. Now you can change the captions, text, tag properties of controls on your Forms without using Resource files. You call the function once and it will either go through ALL of your forms and get the values from a file. Or it will go through all of the controls on 1 form adn get the values from a file. This uses the Forms collection and the Controls collection to do this. This makes life alot easier if you are developing multi-lingual software. NZ Photo Catalog 2.0 catalogs and displays all your photos in a specified directory and subdirectory by category. This application uses ASPJpeg to automatically create thumbnails of your photos. There are two different view to your photos. First, a list view will display a list of your photo names and a mouse over will pop up a thumbnail of the photo. Second, a thumbnail view will display rows of thumbnails of your photo and a mouse over pop up will display the detailed information. This application also provides searching capability by name, category and number of days the photo has been created. This is helpful if you want to show your visitors all the new photos you've posted given a certain number of days. Once your visitor clicks the name of the photo, the photo is displayed in another page with links to the previous and next photos.
