The whole idea of this little prg is... Back when i was in school, the teachers went really NUTS @ us for doing stuff' on the computers... So i created this program to detect the keys 'Ctrl+Shift+~' when they are pressed the program displays a black screen, The idea of this is so it looks like the computer isn’t running... :) I have included a simple Bat setup, as well as VB Script help. this for make one exe file for the program and working without ocx cuz it's see all dependece files and put in on the final exe file complied .. As like VB PowerWrap / Alloy / and other like programs but this one is open source idea version 0.5 have some good ideas that's working but dosn't compile the file to exe . grab the exe file , and check for all ocx and dll needed to run and also can add the files that's needed .. but it's not compile exe for the final exe with the ocx's . i wish some one work with me . this is arabic version of the code.

This handy utility makes other windows transparent (hence the name) but what is unique and the reason I wrote it is it also can change those windows to pass through mouse and keyboard input to the window below it. The reason I originally wrote this was when I was writing papers for school I spent more time flipping back and forth than typing the paper. I needed something so I could read the reference and type at the same time. I'm posting this because of chris seelbachs recent submission that covered the screen with a form you can't click through, this solves that while keping the transparency. Try it I think you'll find it useful. This is a sample program on how to Scan / Twain Acquire an image from a scanner into your VB Program. I wanted to know every call to the TWAIN32 dll file(s). I have looked and found some great custom Twain Code that has heeeeps of features, but it is bundled in C++. This program that I Have written can scan / Acquire an Image from a Scanner. I have also included every single call to the dll file just incase you want to ‘Extend’ this program. There are other examples on PSC, they were a great help to me, but they didn’t have Every call to the C++ dll.

Firstly, Thanks Thomas Swift, for getting me back into this application. This code grabs the weather from wunderground.com as well as radar images and other data and creates web pages on the local machine to display the weather for the zip code of your choice. It is still a work in development, but thought I would share what is completed. The ads are removed and just the pertinent information is shown. When the form is minimized a little form pops up woth current weather icon and the temperature. I also included a proxy setting just in case you are behind one. If you are you may need to restart the app after setting your proxy. Let me know how bad it is, comments are sprinkled throughout. Thanks for looking, Later Larry ** Updated ** I have basically rewritten the parsing code for this app and corrected most of the issues that were in existence, including the directories used for the storage of the files. I have also added an alert function which grabs the latest updates and checks every 5 minutes, also changes the mini-mode background color to red when alerts exist. I have done a lot of mods on what the app does with the weather. I have also corrected the xml parsing for current conditions. Thanks again Tom! ** Update **

As the name suggest, this is the famous, Yatzy, a game which is pretty easy to learn and play. In this application, i've included numerous functionalities; this include network-support with chat, a dynamic and very elaborative support of game-type (allowing users to make their own "levels" or variants of the game - Maxi-Yatzy and Normal Yatzy are included), plus a language skin. I've also managed to add support for plugins.

After many releases as well as many ideas came out from me, finally i've decide to post the final code for [ Winstartup Manager v 1.2 ] that i've completed, hopefully bug free, nice GUI and required functions and ready for setup, to be honest i still need a small help on win9x machine the Taskman auto kill command, well i wont talk much see the code in task termination commented. A ZeldaStyle Game that is in the works...in DirectX7. So far the mapping is almost complete, messaging is done and animation is about done. Soon to come are NPC's and fighting. Before running the game make sure u copy the font that is included and paste it in your C:\WINDOWS\FONTS folder. You move the character using the arrow keys, and interact with the signposts etc...using "Enter." Hi, I found this Coding Standard tutorial somewhere on Net and customized it according our company specifications to refer. Now, This is for you all. This document is a working document - it is not designed to meet the requirement that we have coding standard but instead is an acknowledgment that we can make our lives much easier in the long term if we all agree to a common set of conventions when writing code. Inevitably, there are many places in this document where I have simply had to make a choice between two or more equally valid alternatives. I have tried to actually think about the relative merits of each alternative but inevitably some of my personal preferences have come into play. I hope that this has only happened where it was a line-ball anyway. This document is not fixed in concrete, but it is not a suggestion, either. The only thing worse than no coding standard is multiple coding standards so these coding standards are mandatory where they apply (see the section "WhenDoesThisDocumentApply". However, if you think that something could be improved, or even if you think that I've made a wrong call somewhere, then e-mail me and let's discuss it. **Yes, I propose we rename PSC to Planet-Gradient-Code! Like an infant I am oddly fascinated by pretty colors. In this submission I use the GradientFill API function to create horizontal and vertical repeating multicolor gradients. I also provide a custom gradient fill function to implement smoooooth cosine and tacky HLS (rainbow) color interpolation. **No angle support, yet. For my stab at angled gradients see CodeID=59020.
