This is a scroller in progress, it has various purposes, it could be used as a credit scroller, a hyperlink scroller, use your imagination. The main feature of this scroller is that it supports urls, (e.g http://www, ftp, mailto: links) That could easily be customized to your needs. Im thinking of turning it into an ActiveX control to make it easier to use. Please comment and give suggestions...

Since it isnt very useful to have every Server equipped with services and link them all together i have seperated the Services from the actual Server and created another Server that only runs the Services so they become global. It should all work very well, usually im on dill.mine.nu so why not just drop in if you have a question or whatever. You can't use this Application as a Server for Clients, there's no port they could connect to, this "Server" has to be linked with another *real* Server. This is the ultimate geek thing, an animated binary clock in your system tray, configurable to show hours, minutes and seconds. I have a website that runs off a dynamic ip address. Using ZoneEdit and DynamicUpdate I can publish my IP address to my DNS sever when ever it changes, but DynamicUpdate does not do a very good job of telling me when this happens, so I created a little app that will allow you to input one or more servers to monitor the IP address. The application can display a notification window, play a sound, send an email, and update your HOSTS file if you choose to. This application shows how to get the IP address of a web server, send a SMTP email, play a sound, write to an INI file, minimize to the tray (I did not write that code), and general all purpose object oriented techniques. If you need to use a CheckBox in a Grid, you have 2 choices, either use the ListView control which is limited in it's ability to set different styles in it's cells, or you can use this little set of fuctions. First build your Form, add a MSFlexGrid control, be sure to add the Microsoft FlexGrid Control from Project > Components. Add 2 PictureBox objects, these will contain the checked and unchecked images.

This is a major improvement from version 1. When compiled it can change the bit depth in 0.02-0.08 milleseconds! Version 1 supported 1, 4, 8, 24(32k), 24(64k) bit depth's. Due to feedback I decided to add 15 and 16 bit depth's and redo all the code. The code is a lot cleaner, organized, and optimized to remove unnecessary repetition. MUST SEE! If you want to build an application that can work with several database engines, the main problem you will have to deal with is the different ways for specifying date expressions. This class will allow you to forget those differences. You can enter date strings in any format "dd/mm/yy", "mm/dd/yy", etc.. The class will validate the correctness of the date string and convert it into an expression you can use. Works for SQLServer, MySQL, Access, Informix and Oracle, and it's easy to add more engines.

With this first version of program, you can simply create a 2D map from the top view with mouse in a form and, with most option, you can convert this in 3D map and run away in. The program allow to create normal and transparent multy-color walls, floors, ceilings and you can add .x , .3ds object. Besides this program support Italian end english lenguage. Hi programers!! This code I think is one of the best for monitoring IP addresses and services (I have never seen this) It can monitor any number of IP address in variable intervals of time, it let you know when an IP fails the number of times you especified in an INI file, it send messages to you or the people you want, just tyoe the computers name in the INI file. The service monitor feature, it monitors any services on NT/2000 servers, an if one of the service monitored is down it traies to start it again, and of course, it also let you know what is happening.
